JCF公認、ナショナルランキング対象の「DOWNHILL SERIES」第6戦が、9月12日(土)のシーディングランに続き、本日9月13日(日)に決勝を迎えています。全国から集まったライダーたちが、この日のために整備された特設コースに挑んでいます。

今回のコースは例年以上に距離・スピード・セクションのつなぎが難易度高く設定されており、まさに実力と経験が問われる一戦です。
泥だらけになりながらゴールへ向かうライダーの表情には、緊張と集中がにじみます。

コースサイドには内外の多数の出展ブースが並び、最新のバイクパーツやタイヤの無料貸出し体験会なども実施。飲食ブースでは、バターチキンカレーやガパオコブライス、ポキライスなど、観戦の合間に楽しめるメニューも揃っています。

眼下には富士見町の町並みが広がり、レースの緊張感と高原らしい開放的な景色が同居する、この時期ならではの光景です。

A Battlefield of Speed: DOWNHILL SERIES Round 6 Underway at Fujimi Panorama Resort

Round 6 of the JCF-sanctioned DOWNHILL SERIES, a national ranking event, is currently taking place at Fujimi Panorama Resort. Following Saturday’s seeding run on September 12, riders from across Japan are now competing in today’s final run on September 13.

The venue, usually known for highland hiking and its MTB park, has been transformed into a special competition course. This year’s layout is more demanding than ever, testing riders’ skill and machine setup with its length, speed, and technical sections. Mud-covered riders push toward the finish line with fierce concentration on their faces.

Alongside the course, numerous exhibitor booths from brands including KENDA, BOA, Vittoria, and NORCO are set up, offering the latest bike parts and free tire test rides. Food booths are also serving up dishes like butter chicken curry, gapao rice bowls, and poke bowls for spectators to enjoy between runs.

With the town of Fujimi spread out below and the tension of competition set against the open highland scenery, it’s a sight unique to this time of year. We’ll share the final results and award ceremony highlights soon.
